Time-Out Rooms in our Schools

Today I'm going to get off subject just a bit. I want to find out if my school uses a time-out room. How would the authorities feel if I locked my child in a closet under the stairs for 3 hours? They probably would remove them and say I was an unfit mother. It is our jobs as parents to be informed and advocate for our kids.
